Blew the weekend, but the quest continues

Well, the weekend started out with a birthday party on Friday night, at which I partook of much cake. (it was carrot cake though, so it should count as a vegetable, right?)Then my husband and I went out of town with my father to do some shopping. I went looking for a pair of pants that I can wear til I get down to my beloved size 26's. Wound up buying a pair of black denim leggings, since they were the only things that fit that were any where near my price range I set for myself. But at least they look decent on me, and I won't have to wear them for very long, since I plan to lose enough weight to get those
@#%$*&^% size 26's on soon. : ) Anyway, while we were shopping, we stopped for lunch. If I do say so myself, I did pretty good. I had a turkey sandwich from Subway w/o mayo, oil and vinegar. Just vegis and some mustard. Yum! And a diet Coke and Baked Lays. So not horrible for eating fast food. Mother's Day went well--til I found the bowl of ice cream calling out to me. And the Key Lime Pie. (2 slices) But, Monday came and I vowed to stay within my Points range (Weight Watcher's) and have done ok yesterday and today. Salad which consisted of point-free vegis and fat-free italian dressing are really going to help me ,I think. The salad filled most of my plate so that there was only enough room left to have a small portion of lasagna for dinner last night, and this morning I had a turky and pastrami sandwich (made with lowfat meats and no mayo-just mustard, lettuce, and tomato). These sandwiches are quickly becoming my favorite food. And enough water to drown a fish. : ) I weigh in for my second week at Weight Watcher's in just a couple of hours. Hopefully, the days that I did really well on points will counter-act the days I didn't. We shall see. I will post later on tonight or in the morning. Good luck everyone. Have a great week.

Good job getting back on track and counteracting the weekend. You enjoyed your time and got back on track afterwards.. that's great!

Congratulations on the new pair of pants.. and I wish you have to throw them away soon :)
