Fell off the "wagon", but.......

Last night, I don't know what my problem was, but I went WAY over my daily points allowance. By almost 2x. So I am NOT going to count last night at all. I'm just going going to consider it an "oops" day, and do better the rest of the week. This morning, dh wanted breakfast burritos from Jack-in-the-Box. So when we went through the drive-thru, he asked me if I wanted anything, and I told him "yes, but not from here." We went across the street to McDonald's where I got a snack size Fruit'n'Yogurt Parfait w/ lowfat granola topping instead of caving in to all the fried stuff. Yay me! And when we got home, I insisted on going for a walk around the neighbourhood (about a mile). So I got some excercise in too. And after that, I came home, took a shower, and had a big bowl of broccoli w/ salsa. Yummy! Thought I'd give it a try, since I didn't want to use butter or cheese because they would cost me points. The broccoli and salsa are both free. So I really am back on track today. I think later on tonight, I'll go for a short bike ride just to kind of kick things into gear, so to speak. Good luck everyone. Hope your week is going great.

Katherine,

Just dust yourself off and try again tomorrow! I also do WW (I assume you do, lol, because of the points). Some days are easier than others for me. I am down 22.5 pounds now and I am just trying to hit the 30 pound mark by June 30th.

Do you have any favorite low point snacks that you can munch on to keep yourself within your points? I have to rave about my new find....it's Sugar Free Pudding (Jello brand) and it is in the refrigerator section....Creamy Caramel is the flavor and it is SOOOO GOOD. I LOVE IT.

I really like the Sugar-free,Fat-free pudding that Jello has out. I like to make a box of the instant variety in Pistachio or Butterscotch flavors. I also like the "no sugar added" whole fruit bars from Dreyers. Only 1 point per bar. But they are a little too cold for my sensitive teeth right now. :-( And yes, I do follow Weight Watchers. Just started again on May 9. I think I'm doing better today. Like I said earlier, I am just not going to count yesterday as anything but an "oops" day. I went for a walk with my hubby earlier and for a little walk just a while ago when we walked on the beach looking for seashells. Found some really pretty little swirly shells. All in all, its been a good day. And I have been eating good today too. Broccoli w/ salsa earlier, a Fruit'n'Yogurt Parfait this morning, and Fat-Free Pringles chips with the kidney beans and salsa for lunch. And PLENTY of water. (glug, glug, glug) :-) So the week is looking up! Thanks for all the great support, ladies.
