Just went for my evening walk.....

So I got at least a little excercise in tonight. Its been a pretty lazy day. Been raining most of the day, and didn't feel like getting wet. I finally decided around 6pm to just suck it up and go for a walk if nothing else. The sheer boredom was making me VERY irritable. I feel much better now. I've been good on points for 2 days straight, and I feel more determined than ever that I WILL get my butt into those size 26's I bought over a month ago. I just can't stand living this way any more. So I am DOING something about it. I still get down sometimes, and irritable, and whiny, but I am hoping that losing the weight will really help to improve those things. As well as my physical well-being. I re-did the math, and at an average loss of 2 pounds per week, I should be at my goal in about 2 years instead of 4. Somehow, that doesn't seem so bad to me. I guess maybe I'm just desperate. Sorry about the rambling. Gotta go look in the kitchen now and see what I might want for dinner. I don't really feel much like eating, but I know that I should. We'll see.

If it helps ramble away. Good for you on the walk. It has been raining here today too so I know what you mean by not wanting to get wet!!

you didn't feel like getting wet? but you're the raindancer! lol :)
that was awesome! I'm proud you decided on the walk and didn't use boredom to do eat, sit around and watch tv, or some other thing.. like I would do.
and you are well on your way to achieving your goal. You're taking control of your eating making changes in exercise habits and have set up short term as well as long term goals. I wouldn't say you were desperate. You're ready to be a new and improved you!
Ramble away.. lord knows I do! :)

It's good that you decided to go for that walk.. "DOING something about it" makes you feel great and 'in charge' don't you think?
