My goals for this week are to get back on track. I have fallen off for over a month now. I did not gain anything back but I lost a month of trying to improve and lose.
My sister was killed 15 years ago and on memorial weekend the High School that we attended rededicated the memorial stone for her in front of the school. The remodeled the front of the school and the stones( there are two, one for her and one for two other girls that were killed by a drunk driver). They called my parents in May to let them know what they were doing and we all had a really hard time with it. I relived the entire event and all the pain that surrounded it. It was very nice of the High School admin to have the Memorial service it was just very hard emotionally. And you guessed it, I am an emotional eater.
Anyway, I can not live in the past and my sister would not want me to continue to be in pain and but my children's mother's life at risk. Sorry to ramble..

I want to get back on track with my diet. 1200 calories a day
Exercise at least a half hour per day.

Thanks for letting me vent

Start walking at lunch during the day. Vassar College is right by my job and the grounds are beautiful.

Go to the gym at least 3 times...

Sorry to hear about the loss of your sister. You're right she wouldn't want you to be in pain.

congratulations on picking yourself back up and trying again.

I plan on exercising at least 30 minutes a day, walking at least 30 minutes a day, fasting today and on Thursday, eating in moderation on all other days. Also I would like to go to the sauna at least 3 times this week.

you do it!! i walk to campus every day and it makes me feel better during my 8am class. i see people walking my campus all the time. it's there so enjoy it!!

when working out at a gym try switching machines up so it's not so boring (i also bring my handy dany cosmo with me). i usually do some high paced walking on a tred mill, and some elipticaling? on a eliptical machine. (I like the eliptical machine because it works the upper a lower butt. mines been on the larger side of things lately)

Ok, weight loss goals for this week:

Water 64oz/ calories under 1300/ sodium less than 2400mg daily.
(I've done this before and know I can do it this week...)

Walk 10k+ steps at least 5 days (ditto).
Swim at least 3 times this week, working up to 10 non-stop laps by the end of the week. (This one will be FUN!)

Keep Angela's June challenge in mind.
Catch up with my journaling by the end of the week.

"We can achieve our goals if we set our minds to it."
Yes, we can!
