New but Old to the Board!

Hello everyone. I am Nikki. I use to post here a lot but in the recent years I just never got around to it. I do post on the Weight Watcher's Followers board and they are very helpful and encouraging, so I thought I would try this board as well.
Well, here is the "skinny" (pun intended). I use to weigh 332 lbs. I am 5'7" and should not even have that number in my list. I lost about 52 pounds and recently gained back 4 so I am at 284 right now. I am happy that I am losing but I feel so overwhelmed when I look at the goal and then to the next and see how far I have left to go. I would like to weigh 145. That means as of this point I need to lose about 139 pounds. That is a whole person. More than 50% of my weight!!!! Obviously, I am in it for the long hall because I do NOT know how to quit. I refuse to. I am down this far, let's see how much further I can get.
I do have a plan. I will continue to follow WW but I will not weigh in every week. Looking at the numbers going up and down are too much for me anymore. I am mad and frankly...just pissed off, when I see the scale. So, the second Monday of each month I am going to weigh in and adjust points properly.

Welcome. You are doing so great. I've only dreamed of losing 52 lbs. I know what you mean about looking at the scale, especially after you have been losing for a while, it tends to slow down a bit. It sounds like you have a great plan of action. I just started posting on this board, and find the women to be so nice and supportive.

Welcome back! I really enjoyed reading your post. It's so motivational to have someone who's been successful already show us that it can be done. Especially someone who doesn't know how to quit, LOL! Have you been on WW from the beginning?

I too follow WW. I think it is a great program. Congrats on you success so far. You are doing great!!!
I think you have a great NO QUIT attitiude that I believe will keep you successful.
And if weighing in less often works for you, great. You will see bigger results in that period of time. Very encouraging!!
