Well I weighed in this morning and I am back at 250.6?? WHY?? And before you all ask no I didn't lose any inches, IN FACT this is the MOST aggravating part, I gained 2 inches in the bust and in the hips. ARRRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!! I was within my calorie range most days but oh well. My fat levels were up so I really need to work on that nad try to get them down. So still battling that 250 mark!! I CAN DO THIS!!!

I'm sorry you are battling the scale, but as long as you stick with your plan, it will happen eventually. With such a big inches gain, it sounds like you may be retaining water maybe? I know it's really hard to do, but maybe try staying away from the scale for a week, or be more consistent in your weighing in times. Coming from someone who weighs every day, I know it's nearly impossible to skip the scale for a few days, but sometimes it helps just to relax a bit and not worry. I have dieted on and off and weighed myself nearly every day for the past 6 or 7 years, and what I've noticed is that not only does it matter whether or not you've had anything to drink/eat, whether you go to the bathroom or not, etc., it also matters what time of day you weigh yourself and how much sleep you've had. It may sound a bit obsessive (and probably is), but I noticed that on day's when I had to be up before 8:00 a.m., I weighed more than I did if I got to sleep in and weigh in at 9:30 or 10:00 a.m. Our bodies go through rhythms, and my natural sleep schedule is to get up no earlier than 9 a.m., and my body weighs less when I get to wake up on my own than when I have to get up early. Plus, if I've only had a few hours sleep, I weigh more than if I get a full nights rest. So, don't worry too much because you know you are doing this and that's what's important. If you can't stand taking a week long or even 3 day long break from the scale, why not try relaxing and takinga nice, long, hot bath tonight. That will help if you are retaining water and it will just put you in a better mood anyway :).

Well yesterday was supposed to be my official weigh in only I forgot to weigh..LOL so I did it today in place of. I slept til 9 or so and I am usually up by 8. Yea it could be water but it has been this way for 2 weeks on my official day it is back up from say middle of the week. I am praying it is only water since I did have a gain in inches. OH well I am not that worried about it, the biggest thing is I am doing better so far this summer than I have in the past several summers as far as my breathing goes. As long as I stick to the pool (with sunscreen from now on so I don't become a lobster again) I am cool enough I can breathe and that is all that matters. I can have fun and exercise at the same time!!

That's great that you have figured out how to get exercise in! Me, I am getting pretty good at making excuses not to do it :). Right now I have a valid one since I just had a c-section 2 1/2 weeks ago, but soon I'm gonna have to start doing some form of exercise. Have you considered moving your official weigh in day? I have never done Monday's, hate em with a passion. Even when I stick with my calorie limits over the weekend, I still tend to have more sodium and so I retain more water. I've almost always had Wednesdays or Fridays for my official day, and they work great for me. It's easier for me to remember on those days, too, because Monday's can just be so hectic.

Ya know, that is a good point. Weekends are the worse. I used to do it on Fridays, maybe i need to go back to that. It just so happened that when I started over this time I started over on a Monday so I stuck with it. I think I will move it to Fridays as that seems to be my best days. Thanks a lot for pointing that out.

I weigh in almost everyday but I have been using Monday as my official weigh in day but I forgot to weigh in yesterday so I did it today for official weigh in. I think i will go with Stacey's idea and change my weigh in day to Fridays, before the weekend when I have been a good girl all week. It is so hard for me to stay good on the weekend but I do make progress during the week then with lack of water, increase in sodium and all I just see an increase most probably due to water weight. I even feel swollen today so I am sure it is just bloating.
