Have a goal to work toward

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or will eventually become another stressor.

Good luck Dharma. I hope it works for you. But if you don't lose 40 lbs still wear that swim suit and enjoy yourself. Depression ain't pretty and it can be VERY hard on a relationship. My dr. still thinks I have some postpartum going on even though ds is 2. He thinks cuz it went on soooo long without treatment it just lingered on and on and on, so I understand how you feel. I still have times when I feel that bad. I think a vacation with lots of R & R is definitely called for. I am so glad he is trying to be so helpful and understanding. I hope we both pull ourselves back up and keep on going.

Hey, Dharma---
Your boyfriend sounds like a darling!
It's always nice to have something to work towards, but even if you don't *quite* make 40 pounds by October don't let it become another stressor for you. (Although that's not an impossible goal... and I wish you the very best of luck!) Remember, it's a vacation, all you really have to do is show up and have a good time. Bathing suit optional...
I myself was very pleasantly surprised this week at how well my bathing suit "controls" certain wayward areas of my body. This was sort of a bonus motivator, to see me with less jiggle-- and I want that to become permanent!
Hope all goes well at the doc tomorrow, and that the meds kick in and stabilize for you soon.

How exciting....Good for you...Vacation? Now what is that again...*lol* I haven't had one in a while :(
Don't look at it as 40 pounds. Look at it as 2.5 pounds a week.
Keep us posted on your progress....
YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Thanks guys. I know that the number doesn't matter as long as I continue to work toward the goal. Even if I'm only 10 pounds lighter by then, I will be much happier.
