I noticed last night when i was writing my term paper, i had to be muching. I couldn't think until i put something in my mouth. i grabbed the closet thing to me to keep my creative groove working. only thing was the closet thing was a bag of tortilla 'gold' chips (which i ate a ton of). which is very bad because earlier i worked off 720 calroies on the eliptical machine, by the end of the night i probably put it back in my body. i know i'm horrid..

so my question is. what is a good munchie? i like sunflower seeds which i think may be good (haven't looked at a lable in awhile), but i'm a very picker eater. what can i do?

Thanks everyone!!

I would suggest some cut up veggies or if you need something sweeter, buy the 100 calorie packs. Thye have Oreo, chip Ahoy, cheese nips just to name a few.

We keep them on hand ALWAYS!

I used to have the same problem, unless I munched on something I couldn't concentrate on my classes. That is how I put on almost 30 pounds in 6 months starting this January. It seemed that without chewing I couldn't

Sunflower seeds are okay. They are actually fairly high calorie, but if you watch the portions and eat them slowly, you can keep the calorie count fairly low. A good high volume/low cal snack is light microwave popcorn. You can either buy them in the mini bags, or even the big bags, and get them butter, plain or kettle corn flavored, and the small bags only have abuot 100 calories and the large ones only about 220 for the whole bag. That should give you something to much on all night and it's also got fiber and is fairly healthy for you. The kettle corn flavor is great if you want something sweet and salty, and the butter flavor is a good replacement for chips.

Big bowl of raw veggie pieces, with low-fat cheese sticks cut into small (like 1/2") pieces to keep you from feeling like a complete "wabbit"... from one muncher to another.
