Hi my name is Anna and I need to lose weight! My current weight is 240 pounds, and I want to get down to 140. I had my daughter in February of 05 and I am still 40 pounds heavier than I was before. My goal is to lose 100 pounds, get in shape, get a degree/certification in radiology, and possibly enter the Navy Reserves. oh, and I am 27 years old. So I need some support definitely!

Hey, your DD is so cute, mine is only two months older than her! Anyhoo, for now I am going to try to eat right and exercise more. I'm not really one for dieting, you know like going on the Atkins or the South Beach. I just love all kinds of food and these diets usually restrict me from having SOMETHING I like. I SHOULD go on weight watchers, but I don't really have the money to do that, so I will try to do it on my own. My main goal is to cut down my fast food and soda intake (I am literally addicted to Coca Cola!) I think if I drink more water also, that would be good. What are you trying?

Getting older??GETTING OLDER??!! You're 27.. you're young.. young.. young. Did I mention I was almost 27 myself? LOL
Welcome to the board!! I count calories myself so basically I can plan for whatever I want and don't feel deprived. I think your approach is great.. cutting soda alone will really make a difference.
