Does your family sabotage your weight loss efforts?

  • No, they're 100% supportive
  • Yes, sometimes, but unintentionally
  • Yes, sometimes, and on purpose

My dh is 100% supportive especially now, he is now following WW with me. And wouldn't you know it, he lost 6 pounds his first week...MEN

That's awesome your husband is so supportive! DF is supportive, but still doesn't really get it. He just doesn't understand how unhealthy so many things are, so he thinks they are okay to have all the time. His family also always wants to go out to eat or have pizza or something like that, and there are usually very few if any healthy choices that I like in the places where we go. I've learned to deal though, and handle them pretty well most of the time.

Sometimes on purpose.. because dh feels freaking guilty to eat all the junk alone! He knows it is not good for me, but doesn't want me to feel deprived.

I know how confusing this is for him.. but sometimes when I say NO, I really mean NO. It's not the same as when I look at a bag and say No.. that's a case when I am really saying YES. *sigh* sometimes I even confuse myself.
