1 month of dieting

Today is more than a month that I put my mind to losing 77 pounds for good and forever. 90% of time I was good at my dieting and exercising. I exercised almost 6 out of 7 days and slipped from my diet may be 4 days in total. I lost almost 20 pounds, as my start weight of 217 was according to my old scale and I am 198 on that scale (202-203 on my new scale). This one month was a real struggle, especially with my impatience. Can not wait until I look in the mirror and don't see this tummy and all extra pounds all over my body. The good thing is that struggling day after day, now I look back and one month is gone and I am much lighter. 3 more months like this and I might be around 150, which is great, but oh God, I am so impatient. It seems like I will never be that light and this tummy will stick with me until the end of my days.

Congratulations on making it through for 1 month!! And congratulations on the awesome results!! Looks like you find a system that really works for you. Keep going and keep it up. Being good 90% of the time does work.. it's the big picture that really counts.

I don't think you should be worried about the skin. You're not losing fast, so your skin will have time to rebound. And you have age on your side (I assumed you're young from the picture LOL). Plus you're drinking a lot of water that I hear may help in the elasticity.

Again Congratulations!!!!

Congrats for the 1 month going strong and you are doing wonderful. Keep it up and you will be skinny in no time. I too worry about the skin issue and I too am afraid of surgery, which with my lungs they don't like doing surgery on me anyways, so let's hope mother nature is kind to us and doesn't make gravity be mean to us....LOL

Congrats on the wonderful accomplishment! Sticking with your diet plan so well is awesome and eating good 90% of the time allows you to still enjoy your favorite treats, too! The working out is great, too, as I've recently discovered. I completely understand the impatience, but your 1 month loss is amazing! I think if you keep working out and eating healthily, then you will hopefully not have too much extra skin to deal with. I also know from experience that generally your legs only look BETTER the more you lose! About the only area that's ever suffered for me is my stomach, but I can live with a bit of sagging skin over skin being filled with fat :). I think as time goes on and you fit into smaller and smaller sizes, any excess skin probably won't bother you as much as you think it will. They do have some skin firming lotions out there that I think help a little. I usually use them as I go along, so it helps tone the skin all along, instead of trying to do something about it when you are done losing the weight. Good luck and continue the awesome job you are doing!
