Well, I guess we'll just call this day #1 of a new me, since the last few weeks I sort of slid off the weight loss wagon. So far, so good. I had some fat-free yogurt for breakfast, then I went for a 30 minute walk around the neighbourhood. Kind of a "nature" walk, since I went walking in the woods a little bit that are down the street. By the way, "nature" is not all its cracked up to be. :) (mainly 'cause I met a few bees along the way, and I am deathly afraid of the little flying needles.) Other than that, it was a nice walk. Quiet. My husband is off of work today, but decided to sit out the walk so he could play on the computer for a while. Just fine with me. As much as I love him, it was nice to go walking without the constant chatter. Just me and the road. And I try not to talk to myself in public. I don't want the whole neighbourhood thinking I'm looney.Anyway, just wanted to share my good morning with everyone here.

Yay!!!!!!! Getting started is definently hard. I know, I start over all the time. I can't really figure out what can keep me going, but hopefully I will figure it out soon!! Good job! And keep the positive state of mind!

Hi, Katherine--
That sounds like a fairly perfect morning (minus the bees, of course!)
Congratulations on a good Wednesday...

Hello Katherine~
Glad you had such a great first day back on track! I'm jealous of your nature walk - once it doesn't feel like 1000 degrees here in NJ, I think I'll drag my hubby out to take one with me.
Good luck on your weight loss journey....we're all here to support you!!!!
Hope to see you around the boards!!!!

Congratulations on such a good start! Have you been able to get out into "nature" any more this week? I hope so! I have come to really like going for walks by myself on my work breaks, because it gets me away from everyone and everything that annoys me at work, even if only for 10-20 minutes.
Well, I hope things are still going good for you and that you have a great weekend!
