I had a great weekend.. didn't do anything special.. just chilling out.. and it felt great!

Food wise I could do better. Friday was really bad calories wise (2,600) but I did clean up my act on Saturday. But I don't feel so bad about it since I was supposed to have a treat on Friday. I guess I overdid it with cake and chocolate though LOL. Anyways, I think it was good because now it's all out of my system and I am focused again.

Have a great Monday everybody!

Wild weekend, felt young again with no kids.......LOL!! Seriously I had a bit of fun, could have been better, but hey it was kidless so that was good. Those are becoming fewer and fewer!

my weekend was GREAT. it's the first weekend in awhile i didn't spend it alone or doing homework.

Saturday:

5:00am woke up to a HORRIFIC thunderstorm. lighting like a strobe light, fantastic!!

8:45am (don't ask it just happened that way): rock collecting at McLain state park and Calumet Waterworks beach.
i found shale with magnetite (i think) in it. I was completly interested where it came from. results: almost drowining in lake Superior and finding a sweet outcrop in the water to where my shale came from. and i collected pebbles to redo my fishtank

12:30pm: return home from expedition with the bounty of my adventure in hand (or the trunk of my car, whatever.)

3:00pm: headed to Lac La Belle (er past it) to find a beach that wasn't packed with tourists with the girls.

7:00pm: return home sunburnt and to take a shower because i was stinky and greasy

9:00pm: dinner with the boys at the Michigan House Calumet (snotty, smartass waitress = bad tip. honestly don't be rude to everyone in a party of 9, even the good tippers gave a bad tip)

12:00am: sleep

Sunday: umm not such a play by play..
saw Motzarts Magic Flute (i heart Papageno) studied for music history midterm exam. and sleep.

yes.. i enjoyed it.

Eating wise it was not good. We spent the weekend mainly at my parents house. I don't know why but whenever I'm there I feel the need to eat constantly. And it doesn't help that they have no diet friendly foods. I try to bring my own veggies, but than I run out.

I actually found myself standing in the kitchen after dinner while everyone was outside, furtively eating an ice cream sandwich. Just inhaling it quickly and burying the wrapper in the garbage so no one would see. I wasn't even hungry, in fact I was stuffed from dinner!

I was so ashamed of my behavior afterwards.

I went to a family reunion. We were camping and there were biting flies everywhere, but it was fun.

Sounds just like my time at the MIL's house. Always a constant struggle. Someday I may have a solution for this.. someday..
