Hi everyone! It's been a while since I posted. I was doing pretty well and lost 10 pounds while posting here, but then I went back to work (after baby) and things got a little hectic and I've been letting the food thing slide. Well, I finally got on the scale this morning and found that I've gained 9 of those 10 lbs back in the last 2 months. Argh!! So now I'm renewing my commitment to healthy eating. On the plus side, some of you know that I started running a few months ago, and I've stuck with that. I'm following a training program, and I've worked myself up to running 10 minutes at a time, which is something I've never done (even as a skinny high-schooler!), so being proud of that keeps me from beating myself up too much over the weight gain. I just have to go back to watching my portion sizes and eating healthy foods. And journaling everything!!!
On a side note, I'm starting this new leg of my journey by treating myself to a brand new haircut. It's so hot that it's time for a much shorter 'do!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to everyone and say that even though I haven't been posting, I've been reading and it sounds like you're all doing well on your journeys.
