the scale keeps telling me i've ditched some extra baggage, but my hands say other wise. 10 pounds, i've lost ten pouds since i've joined this board. i've met my mini goal of 262 officially this morning. with ten pounds gone, i should "feel" different right? i mean 10 pounds is alot. i notice in behavior i feel better. like i can bolt up my stairs and NOT get winded. my moods are better on average. but my clothes still fit the same way. i'm confused. last time i lost weight, within 5 pounds my pants were baggy (mostly in the pants area, lower rear to be exact). my hope of getting to my next mini goal of 252 is still there and even stronger. but.. dango-mango i just lost 10 pounds, i want to SEE where i lost the 10 pounds. i'm needy for visual results. :::sigh::

Try being a college student with a dh and 3 kids!! LOL I know what you mean bout money, it comes and goes with us so fast we don't even remember it being there!! I want to treat myself to getting my hair done (the works, cut color and style) but have to wait a little longer to do it!! If I ever get to the 20 lb mark I want to get my nails done!! Then if I ever get to that 25 lbs lost mark I am supposed to get to go bowling. My friend says if Dh doesn't take me she will treat me to it so I should at least get that reward!! Every time we have extra money, the kids end up needing something else!!

How tall are you? I'm 5'10" and I've discovered that it usually takes me losing about 20-25 lbs to notice a clothing size difference! Also, most people don't start noticing until I hit the 25-35 lb mark. This time around I've been exercising a lot, though, and haven't lost a lot, but people are already noticing. I think it all depends on how you are losing and what you are losing. If you are eating very low calorie and not exercising, you are probably losing fat, muscle and water weight about equally. That means that the difference isn't going to be as big as if you were exercising and losting mostly only fat. Also, realize that when we look at ourselves in the mirror, we are apt to see the person we are used to seeing, not a thinner person, and it can take a while for our views of ourselves to change. Keep up what you are doing and maybe add in some strengthening workouts, and before you know it, you will be seeing the results in the mirror as well as on the scale. You can also take your measurements and see those #s going down, even if your clothing size isn't :).

You will wake up soon a size smaller. I just know it.
Eating better does make you feel better. I am so glad you have keyed into that. That will carry you.
Hey let us know when you go drop that dress size!
I've lost 32 pounds and I don't "feel" it either. People see the difference in my face and I have lost a pants size but since I am so overweight I don't think I'll "feel" it until I lose quite a bit more.

20 lbs was my magic number. People started to notice and I could see the difference. Since then losing every few pounds makes a difference. I think the last 7 pounds I lost made a huge difference (2 inches off my waist and 2 inches off my hips).
Does your rings feel any looser? My rings started to fall off after losing the first 10lbs. And my watch.. it wasn't stuck to my wrist as much as
