Hi everyone! How's it going?
Just wanted to share my week so far. I am actually kind of proud of myself. Weird for me. I began the week at my WW meeting on Tuesday night. I had lost 3.2 pounds last week. Yay! Plus, I've been pretty much sticking to my eating plan so far. And on Thursday (yesterday) I joined a gym. Me. Definitely weird in my world. And whats more is I actually ENJOY the workout! More weird. It is a women's only gym, so my hubby doesn't go with me to work out. And they let me do as much as I feel comfortable with. (so far, that amounts to about 30 minutes on the treadmill, 2 minutes on the elliptical, and about 1/2 a rotation of the circuit training equipment.) As much as I love my husband, I rather like being able to go to the gym by myself instead of working out with him. It gives me some much needed time to just clear my head and not be around my family. Not that I don't love them, but I like the "me" time. And I like the gym better than the walks around the neighbourhood. Everyone is at the gym to work out and be sweaty, so I don't feel so self-concious{sp}. Walking around the block or riding my bike, I always feel like people are staring in disgust at the "fat chick". Probably slightly paranoid of me, but thats how I feel. I am so glad I found this place. I think I've finally found my "niche" around here. Well, hope everybody else's week has gone just as great as mine. "See" ya later!

GOOD FOR YOU!!!! It feels nice to find your "niche", doesn't it? Just wanted to say congrats on your weight loss so far and keep up the good work!!!! Oh yeah, and enjoy your YOU time :)

I think that it's great you're enjoying your workouts and that you found an exercise routine that really works for you. Knocking on wood here LOL
