Embarrassed, but I feel good!

Okay, so one of my coworkers, who is probably one of my best friends at work, was asking how much I've lost so far, how much more I want to lose, etc. First, she though I might need to lose maybe 20 more lbs. Then she asked the dreaded question. "How much do you weigh right now." Yeah right! I told her I couldn't tell her, but that it was over 200. Her jaw dropped! She was completely floored that I weighed that much. Can you imagine if I had told her "I weighed in at 237 this morning."? It made me feel really good that she thought that I didn't look as heavy as I am. I always have felt like I carry my weight well, but it's good to hear others say so :).

That is such a great feeling. I've had it happen once before and it was my sister who said it to me.

Keep up the great work!!!

I know what you mean, NO one thinks I weigh 249, I have had people go so far as to say maybe 180=200 but not m ore than that. It does feel good to know you don't look your weight but at the same time it doesn't feel good to weigh that much!! My oldest DD asked me the other day how much I wanted to lose, I said 100 lbs and she flipped out on me. Momma that is a lot a of weight she says......LOL yea honey but at 12 you just don't understand! She thinks she is fat at 5'3 and 103!!
