question for the brave... does your weight and self confidance slow you down when it comes to your significant other and your sex life?
my answer ~~ LORD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not the sex life ~ but when it comes to other women (skinny women) flirting with him .... i could bout knock em out.. lol then i get down on my self a lil bit cause i think how can he love something as big as me when normal size women would have him if he wanted.

Hi Tosh,
Carbonated drinks are hard to break away from, but I have them only rarely now. The carbonation is bad for bones and teeth and some have high sodium levels. (I don't like the idea that they have found traces of benzene at "safe" levels. Maybe so, but I don't want to voluntarily ingest that on a regular basis.)
Answer to your brave question: No, but most things in life are better when you have more energy. :-) As for other women, I'm not the jealous type but his head is more likely to turn toward someone intriguing and confident than someone who simply flaunts a nice package.
Congrats on the bargains!

Hmmmm. Does it slow me down sexually? Absolutely. Although for me there have been other factors. Pregnancies, c-section etc. My C-section caused me to have loss of sensation in those areas for quite some time. Plus I've just been so tired being a mom, yada yada yada. BUT! I can tell you this. Before I gained the 100 pounds during pregnancies, I was a wild woman in bed. But I'm just not as physically fit and flexible anymore. Due to weight gain I don't have alot of balance and my coordination sucks now. So, yea, it slows me down in bed. Plus I feel 100% UNsexy. Although, my now ex-husband always told me that he thought I was just as sexy now as when he married me. He always said, I married YOU, not your body. So, in that area he was always trying to make me feel better. And he still does that. Everytime I see him he comments about how good I'm looking. I jokingly said, "Yea, once I'm done with my diet you aren't going to be able to keep your hands off me anymore." He said, "I have a hard time already. i just don't want to piss you off!" So, I put it ALL upon myself when I say that I don't feel sexy. Alot of men say that sexy isn't how you look, it's how you act and feel.
Now, keep in mind I am divorced now. I don't even want to DATE until I lose my weight. Mainly because I don't want to have to get between the sheets until I feel confident enough.
Well, good luck. I have some very real issues with self confidence. I used to be extremely self confident and outgoing. Since I've put on all of this weight it has completely changed me. I'm hoping to get myself back once I get this fat off!
I have heard/read that diet soda contributes to obesity (and a number of other health problems) so you may want to consider cutting it out of your diet completely. I am currently trying to convince my boyfriend to stop drinking the stuff - he easily drinks 8 cans or more a day and has a number of health compaints not to mention depression and generalized anxiety and panic attacks (even with caffeine-free). I am including some links and info below (just sent these to my boyfriend today) in case you are interested in reading more about it.
Wishing you the best of luck on your journey to better health.

Answering your question for the brave: (warning TMI)
Simple answer: Yes. My biggest issue is my knees. My knees hurt in many positions because it can't sustain my weight. I am not as flexible as I used to and I am big (can't fit both of us on the sofa anymore).. that limits a lot of the moves and places. Also I am very conscious of my body and I tend to cover up more than I used to. I used to go nude after the first 5 seconds and always joked that I will never buy lingerie again because I never get to wear it. So yes.. it is slowing me down.
Aiming at my
I am ashamed of the way my body looks. That's one of the reasons I've jumped on the wagon here. I want to feel better about myself. There's only one way to do that - get fit!
