Forgot to mention....

I forgot to mention a couple of great things that has happened to me due to my 85 lb weightloss thus far. I have gone from a size 34/36 to a tight 22/24. Thus, I can shop in a store not in a catalog anymore. I can buy more fashionable clothes. I am able to fit into booths at restaraunts (before my family and I always had to get a table and wait longer for it). I am able to use a treadmill. Before my first day back at the gym I got on the treadmill and got an error message. I went up to the front office and asked why and she asked me how much I weigh - I told her 395lbs. and she said the treadmill will only hold 350 lbs. So I had to lose 45 lbs. before I could even use the treadmill. When I started walking I could barely go for 10 mins. now I can go for 30 min and 10 min on an eliptical machine. I also can use the weight machines at the gym for 30 min. Just wanted to encourage you all and let you that every little bit of weight that comes off of you counts and to say that if I can do it anybody can do. We all struggle sometimes (like I am right now) but let's look at all the positive changes in our life, ya know? Anyway, I'm going to watch some more football! Watch Out Girls - I'm a HUGE football fan. My cousin is the head coach for the Denver Broncos so you gotta support family! Take Care, Jena

Welcome!
Wow! First of all...congratulations on your weightloss thus far. You have such a positive outlook on your weightloss and the achievments you have made thus far because of it. The scrapbook is a marvelous idea...and if you don't mind, I think I may steal it and use it myself. I have found that pictures I have taken throughout my weightloss has helped me actually visualize that I have lost weight. Sometimes I feel like I don't look any different then I did when I started, but when I look back at the photos of me from before...I really can tell and it makes me proud. I also wear a charm braclet and have a little charm on it for every 10 lbs I've lost. It's a good, constant reminder. By the way, I just think you should know...that I have been a Denver Bronco's fan since I was old enough to sit upright. My mom's house is a shrine to everything orange and blue. She has pictures (some of them autographed by Bill Romanowski, John Elway, Ed McCaffery...quite a few others) everywhere.
Congrats on your successful weight loss thus far, and here's to further success...and GO BRONCO'S!
