I am so mad right now. I just got back from the gym (I went 60 min. on the treadmill - GO ME)and I asked for help from this older guy who works there. Our conversation went like this -
HIM: How's your Mom doing?
ME: She's fine, how do you know my Mom?
HIM: Well, you guys came in here to get your membership and you were trying to get me to talk your Mom into joining.
ME: My Mom has never been here, so you probably are thinking of someone else.
HIM: Yeah, well, there were these 2 really big (emphasis on BIG) ladies who came in to get their membership taken care of and you look just like the daughter so I must be thinking about her.
ME: Hmmm, well, thanks for showing me how to work the equipment.
This coming from a pot-bellied old man. I was soooo upset that I almost left the gym, but I got to thinking about it and I came to the conclusion that I was making too much out of it. I'm not going to let it get to me. I'm just gonna let it roll right off of me and keep on going with my weightloss. JERK!!! I only have 15 lbs to go until I official lost 100 lbs. I'm so close I can taste it! Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

Ah, way to go on the weight loss!
I tend to have a sarcastic
TTC = Try(ing) To Conceive a baby...yes, ladies, I'm having another one!
Wow!
Thanks.
Jena, Here's a thought. Maybe you really do resemble that other woman? I wouldn't sweat it (no pun intended). A mean-spirited person is more likely to harbor mean thoughts about you, me or anyone on the planet and you wouldn't know it by their comments. Most people are just like us and sometimes are just plain awkward no matter how hard they or we try. You are well on your way to blowing the minds of everyone who knew you when! Don't let a strange interaction with this guy bug you.
All the best,
Annie
