Welcome to the board! I just had a baby 5/25/06 and I've been working on losing weight ever since :). I gained 47.5 when pregnant with her, but have a lot of pre-pregnancy weight to lose, too! It's hard, but you can do it! The great thing about having a baby is that it really helps keep you occupied and keeps you from eating mindlessly out of boredom. Welcome and good luck!

Hi Angela and welcome to the board. Your baby is just precious. Congratulations on adding her into your loving family. You generally lose alot your first week when you start to eat healthy because most of it is water weight. But, after that you can lose anywhere from 1-2 lbs a week. My progress has been pretty slow due to various medical conditions and medications I take to treat Bipolar Disorder. I have lost 85 lbs since 6/05. My doc says it is good that I lost that much so slow because I'll be less likely to gain it back. I wish you well on your weightloss journey. The ladies around here are great and very supportive. Come back often and I look forward to knowing you better.

OMG can Olivia be any cuter?? Congratulations on the baby! And congratulations on wanting to get back on track that fast. You think it's depressing wearing maternity clothes after 6 weeks? Try
