Rejoining the board

I have not been active on this board for well over a year now. But I am back now and in desperate need of support. I am now tipping the scales at about 255lbs. Alittle about myself. I am 27 years of age and am a stay at home mom. I have 3 boys (8, 5, 2) and 1 girl (5months). At my highest, I weighed in at 315lbs but I managed to exercise/diet all the way back down to 221lbs. I then became pregnant again and am back up again. I am ready to start again and hope to find some support as well as help others.

Hi Machelle, welcome back! Your story sounds a lot like mine - high weight of 315, got down to 176 at my lowest about 4 years ago, and then started piling the weight back on and I am all the way back up to 258. It's really hard to re-lose weight that you lost before... I get angry and frustrated with myself about it, but then remind myself to be gentle and understanding - beating myself up about it is not going to do me any good. It just means I haven't permanently changed my eating habits yet - but now is time to do it.
Let's really commit to getting this weight off - I know we can do it! Hope we can all lend you some support on the way.

Hi Machelle'! Welcome to our board. My name is Jena. I just wanted to encourage you and say that YOU CAN DO THIS!!! I think you'll find that this board is very supportive and the ladies here can relate because we are in the same spot that you're in. Just take your weightloss in 10 lb increments. I find that makes it a little easier to manage. If you look at it all at once, you'll get frustrated. It sounds like you've been down this road before and have had much success. Just get back on track with your weightloss and you'll get to your goal. Again, welcome and I hope to get to know you better.
Take Care, Jena

Welcome back!
Welcome back to the group Machelle.. and congratualtions on your new baby!! And congratulations on not gaining all the weight back.. that's success on its own... after having the baby, you're still 60lbs lighter than when you started your first journey.
I am looking forward to knowing you better. Did you decide on how you're going to start?
