I had such an awful 2 weeks. Ive been sick so I just slacked...Im not even going to weigh in at weight watchers this week (ill use my free pass) I just ate and ate all week..Im so mad at myself!!

Ive vowed that tomorrow Ill get back on track, and that Ill work out tomorrow, but im scared that once tomorrow comes...i wont keep my promise.

Im just so disappointed! I wanted to lose 10lbs for aug and im 3 short..so im def going to keep my personal goal of 10 for sept.

What do you do when you feel yourself falling into your old habits??

Yes I have this problem too.I am having a hard time on sundays cause I eat with my family and we had chuck roast this sunday . I love Roast. I hate to see what the scale say in the morning. My mom even made brownies tonight I love brownies. Oh yeah we had slaw too. Slaw is high calories when bought at a deli.

Hi Kristin,

Welcome back! I'm so sorry that you haven't been feeling well. Two weeks is a long time, too, so it's absolutely awesome that you were able to lose 7 pounds in August in spite of your illness. Personally, I'd call that a great month in any circumstances, LOL!

I've jumped/slid on and off the wagon a lot, with much less valid reasons. One thing that helps me is trying to be accountable to this board. Everyone's very sweet and understanding about lapses (and I know they happen to many people sooner or later), but I still feel like I'm letting the side down and it makes me try to get back on plan. The slips seems to be getting better... shorter in duration, anyway. I hope.

What exercise will you do tomorrow? I just did a bellydancing dvd, and if you were my audience, the laughter alone probably would have given you a great workout!

Take care,

Misha

What do you do when you're falling back to your old habits? You dust yourself off and get back up as soon as possible. Realise that those old habits have been with us for a while and sometimes it's not possible to just quit cold turkey.. there will be times when we fall.. and this is not the issue.. the key issue is to get back on track immediately.. I mean don't wait until next Monday or tomorrow or any future date, just get back on track now.

Forgive yourself for the relapse and learn from it and move forward

Welcome back!
