I'm back to what I know I need to do. Calories and fat down, nutrition, fiber, protien up, and water and exercise like it's second nature. (Maybe eventually they will be. You know the old Field of Dreams approach: If you build it, they will come...) Two months 'til my b-day. Mini-goal pressure is on! Annie

I'm here! My plans for this week are to not go crazy! :)

I'm going to stay on track Mon, Tues and Wed, then my goal for Thurs-Sun is simply to not go too crazy. I am working 12 hours each day Mon-Wed, then Thurs we drive 12 hours to Louisianna, Friday's rehearsal dinner and bachelorette party and Saturday's the wedding and Sunday we drive 12 hours home. I'm taking a few healthy snacks with me, but I really have no clue what the food choices are going to be like this weekend. It'll be fun, though, so I'm excited. My goal for this week is to be up by no more than 1 pound next Monday from this Monday. I know I tend to gain a ton of water weight when I can't/don't eat super healthy, so I'm guessing I'll see a gain like I did after my last hog wild weekend :).

I'm actually not going to focus on exercise at all this week. If I get it in great, but if not, I'm not going ot beat myself up over it. I should still get at least 30 minutes of walking each day, though.

Staci

I am ready! I have less than a month till my Race for the Cure 5K-- and I have got to start kicking my own butt running! I got back to writing down my food- very important for me, and we will be running tonight- I am going to push myself. There is a hill and the end of our course- that I cannot seem to make it all the way up. Saturday- I a made it literally 20-30 feet from the top and had to stop- I thought I was going to die. So I am going to push through and make it to the top of the hill by the end of the week.

Non-weight loss wise- I get to see Dave Matthews band this week! WOO HOO!

Also- today is mine and DH, 6 month wedding anniversary- I can't beleive we have not killed each other yet!

Good luck this week to all!

I'm here, I think.

This week, just sustaining myself through 70 hours at work, 8 kids for piano lessons and mid month bank stuff for my bookkeeping clients. I think that's why I am actually able to stick to a diet, I don't have time to cook, by the time I'm done with work the restaurants are closed, and there's no food in my fridge except some frozen Lean Cuisine things. Somehow in all of this though I actually managed to meet a guy, he's a former Marine and all that entails. He came to my work one day to work on my system and has been calling everyday since, now he wants to get together and go out this weekend. :) Who knows, maybe he'll volunteer to get me in shape.
BTW, not smoking really sucks, I go for a day or 2 then I have to have a cigarrette, I think this is actually worse than Ben & Jerry's withdrawl. I'm thinking about quitting quitting, I'm getting grouchy.

Well, I am still hovering at 258 - hoping this will finally be the week that I will see the scale budge. Between work and evening classes I always have an excuse for not exercising, and this is at least part of why I am not seeing any changes on the scale. I need to work something out, since not exercising is just not an option.

Best of luck to everyone this week!

I don't think I'll have a problem staying on track dietwise this week, knock on wood. I've been on the Wendie Plan (WW) since Friday and its going pretty well. I was tempted to grab some fast food for lunch because I had to take my mom to a drs appt out of town and my regular eating schedule got off track just a bit. I fought the urge though and settled for a little leftover black bean soup.

I need to work in some exercise starting this week. I hate to admit it, but I am not good about sticking to an exercise schedule. I would rather curl up with a book or even clean house than go for a walk or use my recumbant (sp?) bike. I even bought the Leslie Sansone 1,2, and 3 mile DVDs, but have only used them twice. Okay....I will set a goal of riding my bike for at least 20 minutes and doing the Leslie Sansone 1 mile tape once before Friday. Bah, humbug...I hate exercise! ;)

I'm with you.
The biggest challenge I have is to journal everyday. I usually let about 2 days a week just go without thinking much of the calories I'm eating. I am going to commit to journaling everyday, even if the means I am going over a quadrillion calories.

I am going to stay on track this week. I am tired of staying within the same weight range.
