In doing theme threads in the recipes section? Kelli's post about breakfast got me thinking and I thought it would be nice to do a new thread each week. We could do threads about the best breakfasts, fast food lunches/dinners, eating out, and then also do themes like chicken or fish or beef, etc. Is anyone else interested? I thought it would be great because I'm always looking for new ideas since i tend to get stuck on the same things over and over. Let me know if you're interested and if we have enough interested I will start a new thread each week with a different theme. If you are interested, post what you would like to see. Low carb? Low fat? Veggies? Sides? Breakfast? Chicken? What else?

I would love something like that- mostly because I love to share new recepie ideas. I would love to see some veggies-- I am always doing canned green beans....boring!

That's a great idea! I'm all for it. I am constantly looking for recipes so I don't end up just eating boneless, skinless chicken 24/7. I could definately use more vegetable recipes.

Well, since I know there's at least three of us interested I went ahead and started a Recipe of the week thread...veggies this week! Everyone share your favorite recipes for veggie sides or entrees and definitely share your favorite tips for getting more veggies in every day! Even though it's going to be recipes of the week, lets keep these threads going and add to them every time we try new ones!

Here are a few ideas I have for future ROTWs (please add on any you can think of):

Meal ideas under 350 calories
Desserts/sweet treats
Chicken
Beef
Slimmed down comfort foods (i.e. the low fat/low carb lasagna or healthy mac n' cheese, etc.)
Best on the go meals (fast food or prepare and take yourself)
Healthy snack ideas

(Add your ideas please! I will keep a list to choose from every week)

Trust me, yours can't be the wackiest, my family is Irish, Jewish and Cherokee, you don't even want to imagine the things that came out of that kitchen. Scary.
