So excited!

Ok so I didn't get picked for the exercising study which is fine. I was looking through our local paper this afternoon and an all female fitness center is offering a full year membership for 99 bucks! It's originally 310! I am overjoyed. I looked up the site and they even have free daycare if I cannot find a sitter for my son or if hubby is working (I'd rather NOT have my in-laws watch my son). It's great timing bc I just moved to NC a year ago October 1st and we got our electricity deposit back with earned interest (412 dollars anyone?!). Great week so far, lets keep it up yo!

Great news!! Did you get to go yet?
Actually my husband told me not to bother with the membership and we went out and bought two brand new bikes so we could go biking together everyday. Which is a problem in a way, I tore with the birth of my son and it well kinda hurts to sit on the bike seat! LOL. I was heartbroken he told me not to get the membership (I am a SAHM, so when it comes to money we BOTH have to agree to spend it on certian large items). So we are going to give it a go. But my brother in law works for the county and can get us into the local gym for free (he pays 20 bucks and my sister and I will go and I'll be her guest). So that's even better!
On a sadder note, my husband lost his wedding ring. He went to help his father a week ago and left it in his truck. Shockingly it's not there today. I'm so upset!!! I was so mad at him and I know I shouldn't be but he DID lose an important item!!

I would be absolutely furious at dh if he lost his wedding ring (came close, he dropped it in the toilet once.. still don't know how he actually did it, but anyways)..
Cycling after a tare? Brave woman.. really brave LOL.. but it will heal soon and it would be great when you go cycling with your husband.. and if he starts thinking to bail you out you can always scare him into the gym membership LOL.. and the option to go with your sister to the gym is also great.. both cases you'll have someone with you and it's less likely to get boring or get cancelled
Good luck!
LOL. I dropped my engagment ring down the sink one time and was crying so hard that dh just tore the pipe off to get it out. Ah, the things we do for love.
Yes, I know I'm braving a bike ride with a tear. When I got on it the other day I was like "ow ow ow ow" from the end of the drive way back. It burns. So I'll have to get use to it. My midwife told me I was healed at my 6 week check up but I'm still not comfortable. And yes, I'm looking foward to working out with my sister. She had my niece six weeks before my son and she's gained some weight back (after losing 55lbs!!) since she still hasn't found a job after moving to NC from NY.
