Worried and Bingeing BIG TIME!

I am really worried about my Dad. He has been having chest pain and had to go to the doctor yesterday. My Mom and I almost had to take him to the hospital on Saturday, but he refused. Apparently, he had another episode last Tuesday and didn't tell anyone about it. I am very close to my parents. I live with them because I am on disability. If anything happened to my Dad our whole world would fall apart. Anyway, for the past couple of days I have been bingeing and couldn't think of why. I think it's because I am worried about my Dad. He goes to a heart specialist tomorrow. His brother has congetitive heart failure and has had a heart attack. His uncle died of a heart attack fairly young. I am sooooo worried. I just need to give it to God and get back on my healthy eating kick.

Take care, Jena

I just want to say take care of yourself. I have a very good idea of how you're feeling right now.

Keeping you, your dad and mom in my prayers.

Hugs to you ((((((Jena))))))

I hope your father comes out of this okay! Definitely work on keeping up those good habits...maybe you can help your family to get healthier by leading by example? If you can't get right back in weight loss mode, work on maintaining and making healthy choices. With so much stress around, you don't need to add any extra!

I've been in your position. Its so easy to fall back on bingeing when things happen out of your control. You go to the food looking for comfort, but in the end it lets you down.
Giving it up to God is the thing to do. You need to take care of yourself right now so that you can be there for your parents.

I'll keep you and your parents in my prayers.

Jena, I feel bad but yet I can relate. I am also on disability . Mine is for schitzephrenia. Anyway I was also in the same boat cause I don't get much from disability but yet my dad is 58 he is 350 lbs and he has high blood pressure and could die anyway my mom told me today we would have no cable or nothing besides the bare necessities if he died. My mom and dad got in tremendous credt card debt and i would worry of losing my home here. the creditors would get every dime. so I am worried too but I can relate you are not alone i will pray for your dad as well. Are you getting your medicines ok, Jena? I am losing some the welfare program who was helping me. .Well got to go.
