Set a goal for the new year?
| Mon, 09-25-2006 - 7:55am |
I know it's a bit early to think about new year.. but I thought it would be nice to set a goal/goals... or heck..make a resolution.. NOW... instead of waiting till the new year. And it can be a new year gift to us.
Am I making any sense?
It doesn't even have to be weight loss related you know...
Hey, since we're talking about the holiday season, anybody started Christmas shopping yet? (I know I

My goal for the year would be to continue learning to eat right and exercise. I want to feel better in 2007!
As for Christmas, I've been doing some on-line "window" shopping. I have a list of idea's. I have bought a few things already for some my "cyber" granny friends......
You're not nuts! I haven't actually started shopping yet but I have a list going of what I'm planning on getting for people. I always start really early with my list cuz some people are so dang hard to shop for I have to start thinking early! MIL and FIL are INSANELY hard to figure out gifts for and DH is no help lol. I will probably start picking up the stuff that I do have figured out pretty soon tho, so no way are you nuts!

Sometimes we put up walls not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to tear
Well, here are a few of my goals for 2007:
I want to be at my goal weight by May 25, 2007. That's Kylie's first birthday and allows me to lose at a rate of a little less than 1 lb per week.
I want to maintain my weight because we will be having our wedding in January (possibly February) 2008.
Hmmm...I don't think I really have any other resolutions or goals for next year, except to get a wedding planned...eek!
As far as Christmas shopping goes, I haven't started but don't really have a whole lot to do. I think DFs family has decided not to do their annual gift exchange and they are all going on a cruise instead (DF and I are opting out to save the $$). My mom doesn't like us to spend $$ on them, so I usually just buy something small for my family. Other than that, there's DD and DF. Lucky me, DF's birthday is on Christmas day, so I get to buy him 2 gifts!
