When does everyond primarily weigh in? Do you find that doing it on a specified day of the week that it helps keep you honest with yourself?? Say, doing it on a Monday to keep yourself straight on the weekend prior? Just thought I'd get perspective, I tend to want to do it on Fridays so I can relax some over the weekend & don't feel so pressured. Is this a bad idea?

I weigh every single day, but that's just me. It works best for me, because I can see my progress daily. I have an official weigh in day of Monday, and whatever my weight is that day is my official weight for the week, but daily helps keep me motivated. I get kind of frustrated if I lose *only* 1/2 to 1 lb over the course of the week, but weighing every day I might sometimes see a big drop of 2 or 3 lbs and then see it come back (without going off plan, I just can retain A TON of water and lose it just as quickly) in the same week, so I know that eventually it will get there. I guess that sounds kind of weird, but it's what works. Some people (I used to be one of them) get too obsessed with the # and let it get them down, so once a week or month works better for them. You'll have to figure out what really works for you. Maybe try the Friday weigh ins for a while and see if it works. If you find that you're going crazy after weighing in, maybe Monday would be better :).

whatever day you pick that works for you. it should be same day, same time and even same amount of clothes. for me Sunday worked the best. it kept me more aware on the weekends.

I'm doing Weight Watchers and my meeting/weigh in day is Friday. It works great for me because the weekends are when I cook my big family meals and it allows me to indulge just a little bit way before my next weigh in.

I don't have a specified time for weigh in. But I always weight myself on Friday morning. I tend to be less disciplined on the weekend when it comes to eating so weighing myself on a Monday can be depressing. I am also known to step on the scale before I eat or before I go out to eat to remind myself to eat healthy; get water instead of soda, skip dessert, park far away from the restaurant so that I have get in some walking.

I've been having my official weigh in on Tuesday mornings (at work on the big hospital type scale), but i do weigh occasionaly thru the week at home to check up on myself.

My official day is Friday, but I want to weigh in a couple of days inbetween because I am anxious.
The onloy reason that is weigh in day is because that is the day we started the challenge, but I could change it. I might need the motivation of a Monday weigh-in. I hadn't relaly thought about it.
My official weigh in day is Tuesday only because that's the day of the week I officially climbed on the scale when I got started. I do, however, climb on the scale every morning just to check in. It helps me keep from getting too full of myself after a big loss and reminds me that there are NO DAYS OFF! If I ignore the scale it feels like I'm giving myself permission to skip other parts of my plan. Little allowances here and there are what made me gain and keep on weight over the years, so I'm really hammering away at the little things. Good luck finding what works best for you! Annie
