Hi all!!
My name is Trina and I finally decided to come out of lurk mode.
Let's see, a little about me: I'm 22 (23 in two weeks) and I have been over weight all of my life. Seriously! The last time I was normal weight, I think I was like 6 weeks old or something. LOL! Growing up, I was one of those people who dieted every summer but never lost weight. Or I started a new diet every Monday because by Wednesday, I was pigging out again. In 2004, I decided to change my ways. I stopped eating beef and pork (which totally nixed my fave bacon cheese burgers) and started substituting sodas with water. I started watching my portions and I even did Curves for a month (it just wasn't my thing) By November 2005, I had lost a total of 50 pounds (give or take). I went from a size 22 to a 16 (depending on the store) But that was also the holiday season. Since then, I have put 30 pounds back on! And since I refuse to buy bigger clothes, I generally have nothing to wear.
I just bought a treadmill, and my goal is to stick to this diet and keep it off.
So hopefully, I'm listing this right...
(high/current/goal) 286/260/175 (My lowest weight was 234)

Trina, welcome! Wow, it sounds like you have made some fantastic lifestyle changes kiddo! Be very proud of those, many people have a hard time cutting out soda and meats. Good for you!
I know you can do this! You've done it before with just cutting out a few things, imagine what exercising will do for you! I am really excited to see what progress you will make, this is your time to shine!!

I'm excited to see how this turns out as well. If I could just get a remote control to fast-forward things by about 6 months so I can see how this works out, it would be greatly appreciated. LOL!

Yeah, this looks like a great place for support. I can't wait to go shopping either. It's always much more fun when the clothes fit just right.
