What is your diet of choice?

I was thinking we could let others know about our diet plans. Maybe we could just tell a little about what plan you are following. You may be following your own plan and that's good to know also. Cocchi

So it has taken me a while to perfect, but I think I finally got it down, and I am losing consitently now. Personally I suffer from food or calorie "amnesia" if I don't write down everything I put into my mouth. So in addition to cutting out a lot of junk food, watching portions, and eating a lot of soy protein (I'm a vegetarian), I count calories, which initially just meant I was counting them, and there were still too many! So now, after quite a bit of trial and error to find a pattern that works well for me and keeps me from binging on the weekends, I have the following daily calorie goals:
Mondays & Tuesdays: 1200 - 1500 calories
Wednesdays & Thursdays: 1000 calories (These are days when I have liquids only - juices and protein shakes)
Friday - 1500 calories
Saturday - 2000 calories
Sunday - 1500 calories
This averages out to just over 1300 calories a day, which keeps me losing at least a pound a week, if not 2.
I have yet to add regular exercise, so that's next on my list of challenges :)

i just watch calories although at the moment I am concentrating on drinking water and adding fruits/veggies to my diet.
I will continue to work on 1 thing a week til I get back to counting calories/fat!!

Excellent idea!
I'm doing my own thing.. watching calories (yo-yo calories around the week to average at 1,500 with higher calories at the weekend) and trying to stick to an exercise routine. Plenty of water (but I've always been big on drinking water anyways so this is not new).
The thing I'm focusing on is to watch where my calories come from. I can stick to a 1,200 calories diet of basic junk and I can't lose when I do this. So right now I'm focusing on getting the right stuff in.. sort of high quality calories. I noticed I do better when I minimize the sugar and have less starch.
Oh and I allow for a weekly treat.. but only a big treat not a whole binging day.. that helps keep me focused
