CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FIRST HOME!!! All that packing and dusting will keep you busy and hopefully will keep your mind off the food until maintenance. I have to see pictures!
hi there, i love the way you've got a short and long terms weight loss goal, i think that's really clever. a friend recently sent me this really interesting site that's got loads of really helpful diet information: www.fatsecret.com
i am also trying to lose a bucketload of weight and have been sooooo good the last few months that i feel really positive
i have a really good friend, Susan, who lost over 100 lbs about 5 yrs ago, using slimfast and exercise, then she gained it all back, then about 3 yrs ago she had the gastric bypass and she has now lost the 100 lbs again, she's said she'd still like to lose another 50 lbs. Her arms have quite a bit of extra skin on them, and i'm sure her butt and thighs do too, but i haven't seen those parts of her. She has just recently started an exercise routine, she goes to the pool at the fitness center that we have at work about 3x/week and she walks in the water (it takes the pressure off her knees, she has arthritis and limps when she walks).
I look at it this way, as far as my weight loss goes, i'd rather been 200 lbs (or less) and have saggy skin than to be over 300 lbs and out of shape. plus DH loves me the regardless of how big or small or saggy i get. He knew me in high school when i was in shape and skinny (130lbs), started dating me when i was fat (240), and married me when i was even fatter 270. and stuck with me thru 2 pregnancies where i ballooned up to 342 lbs..
Only 17 more days, 17 more days, 17 more days
