Misha!! Welcome back!! I was wondering where you went.. seems like you had a birthday and dissapeared.. I'm so glad you're back!
I know what you mean.. you lose guard for a few days and BAM comes the added pounds. I gained 5 pounds in two weeks (lost 1 of those so far). But I also noticed that the weight is easier to lose once you get back on track faster.. I think most of it is water weight and this is why it is lost easily.. or it doesn't have the time to regester and really stick (I am not sure if I'm making any sense though)..
But I did notice this: the more healthy eating becomes the routine and the 'normal', the replasing becomes shorter in period and results in less pounds gained.
Not sure if I'm making any sense here... but the only option I see is to just keep going and get rid of that weight.. Did I mention I am so glad you're back :)
Hi Misha. Isn't it astonishing how quickly the weight jumps back on, but yet, takes it's sweet ole time when you want it off! I don't really have any advice for rebounding, only to tell you NEVER GIVE UP! I am the queen of new beginnings, but I refuse to quit or give this up. I know what good health and a leaner body will bring me, and I want that more than anything.
Mary, hello! And thanks for the lovely welcome back.
It's so funny, your theories and mine seem to be the same about the weight falling off more quickly because it hasn't had time to "settle". I don't know if this has any real basis in fact, but I'm clinging to the idea anyway!
I also notice that the more junk I eat, the more I want junk... such a vicious cycle. So I'm trying just fruit/veg juice for a couple of days, to get those cravings behind me. Day One, and I already feel better. I should be back on my normal plan by the weekend... wish me luck!
Thanks, Danielle. It's like the lost pounds are just hovering, waiting for the first sign of weakness, isn't it? BTW, if you're the queen of new beginnings, I am DEFINITELY one of your ladies-in-waiting! So much better than just throwing in the towel altogether...

Dear Fran,
I hope it gets easier (maybe even automatic), too. *sigh* Thanks for the support!
