My thoughts and prayers are with you. A few pieces of beef jerky with all of that stress, you should be congratulating yourself! :) I am a terrible stress eater and I don't think I could have pulled it off.
Dani I'm so sorry to hear about the fire. Thank God that both you and your son are doing fine and are unharmed. And thank God you already bought that town house. Don't worry about the stuff you "spent years collecting".. afterall they're just 'things'. Just buy the absolute essential things that you need right now. The house doesn't have to be perfect.. just buy the essentials and start adding things along the way when you can. Try looking at it this way: you're furnishing a new home from scratch and you can have all the time you need to make it look perfect and just the way you like.
OMG Dani, I hope you're doing alright! What a scary thing to have happen. Thank goodness you and DS are safe and sound! You had a very stressful even happen and look at you, stayed on target with your plan and everything! I really need to take a page outta that book and apply it to my own life. Emotional eating does me in every single time!
I know that you're concerned with all the stuff you lost, but you're a strong woman, you will get through this. What a relief it is that you guys are safe!! Congratulations on your new home. Saw your post about it the other day but did not get a chance to respond. What a fabulous accomplishment, and all by yourself!!
Oh, Dani, I couldn't believe this had to happen to you! What a relief that you and your son are all right, though... the rest will all come together slowly. (And I'm sure your holiday company will make allowances for the situation. They're wanting to see you, presumably, not your window treatments, LOL!)
Congratulations for staying so close to plan (why is beef jerky not ok? too much processing adds carbs?) through all the drama. Please check in when you can, and know that many positive thoughts are with you...
I'm so sorry!

I hope everything turns out well for you!
