Hi to everyone. My name is Windy. I am 23 years old. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 5 years. I have 3 kids. My eldest is almost 4 and a half, then i have a 19 month old son, and a 8 month old daughter. i used to weigh 135 lbs, but after having my 1st son i weighed 220. when i was pregnant with my second i gained 32, but lost all that plus some. Then i got pregnant with my daughter, weighed 240 after i had her. I then became very exhausted, and very sick and gained another 10 lbs. I found out I had a underactive thyroid. I started meds for that, now that I am feeling much better, I am ready to start excersing and eating better. I currently weigh 250, and want to get down to 135, which is going to be very hard, but hopefully with this support i will do it. I have been depressed latley because I have no energy to keep up with my kids. The one diet that worked for me was lean, chicken or turkey, whole grains, no sugar and low fat, lots of fruits and veggies and a ton of water. My doctor told me that if i follow a strict diet i will lose most the weight , combined with 30 min. of exercise 3xs a week, and the weight will start peeling off. so here i go.....

Wdlcome aboard and best of luck to you. I hope your dr. is right and it does start to peel off.
Congrats on the 3 bundles of joy, no wonder you are so exhausted....LOL 3 under 4 will definitely do that.

Welcome to the board Windy.. we're so glad you're joining us. Three children under 4? We have a warrior with us ladies LOL
Best of luck in following the plan.. it looks very healthy, doable, and can be followed for life. It also looks exactly like what I"m trying to do ROFL. Good luck with the weight loss.. don't be overwhelmed with the big picture, just break down your goal into mini-goals and celebrate every milestone you reach.
I'm looking forward to knowing you better.
