Hi All,
Well, I've been on the cookie diet now for 3 weeks and have lost 4 pounds in total. This last week has been the worst because I have no taste for these cookies anymore. I'm doing GREAT on the water and drinking about 50 oz per day and cut out soda products. However, I'm still starving throughout the day. I can't believe I paid $260 to start this and now I want to stop it. I want to stop this particular one and just do it on my own now that I have the water under control and no soda. I'm thinking of maybe doing WW instead. I am discouraged because I need to lose this weight and was hoping I could do it on this diet but I don't see it happening.
I hope you all have a Happy Halloween. NO candy in my house...8 month old and 2 1/2 year old, and so trick or treating this year.
Iris

I am sorry you are struggling iwth the diet and aren't having any success. I hope ww wll be better for you!!
I will be out there with you, 2.5 and 6 yo's to take. I think the 12 yo is going to dress up to walk with them too. Suits me just fine, with my breathing the less walking I actually have to do the better. I asked Ds if he wanted to take his bucket and walk around and practice saying trick or treat and he told me no and threw the bucket in the trash. HE is a mess. he will be a frog this year, DD6 a green and black fairy (MIL bought green wings and tutu and all I could find to go with it was a black leotard and tights so oh well, her heart is set on wearing those wings), and DD12 is going to be a Dark Princess. What are yours going to be??

Hi Iris.. I can't say I don't blame you for being bored. But it's a great achievement that you stuck with it and lost those 4 lbs.. Congratulations!! The best thing is that you now have 2 healthy habits: drinking water and quitting soda. If you really feel that you can't stand that diet anymore then you should consider switching to WW's. If you feel you've given that diet an honest shot and you decide it's not for you, then by all means switch it. It does take a few trials before a person really knows what would work for her. I haven't tried WW's myself, but I've heard a lot of good stuff about the program and many of the members here follow it.
Good luck on whatever you decide. Can you get a refund of part of the money in case you decide to stop the program?
