I would keep the ones that may be sentimental or may have some meaning to you, but maybe do away with the rest. Remember, those clothes are just things...they're not you. No matter if they are in your closet or not you will succeed when you're ready and you'll feel great no matter what at that point. I hope I wasn't too blunt...(after all this message comes from someone who has a lingering stack of jeans.....about 4 sizes too small.....tucked up in her own closet. lol) So I've been through these feelings for sure! ((hugs))

Of course, until a couple years ago, I had almost a full closet of old clothes. I had to let it go. Your friend is right. When you lose the weight, you're going to want to go out and buy some of the new cuts and fabrics. Your old stuff will be just that - old. So my suggestion would be to gt a few of the pieces that are timeless that you really love and let the others go as a new goal for yourself. A goal to replace them with something new when the weight comes off.

I really understand what you're going through. I hate to throw my clothes away and I have a WHOLE wordrobe of size 8-10 that I cannot depart with. I even have trouble throwing away the clothes that I've outgrown (I think I can wear them when I get
