Allie, I know I for one would love to welcome you here. There have been a few miffed people on the board lately over things that are (in my opinion) misunderstandings. There are plenty of nice people left on this board to welcome you. I feel like I'm a pretty nice person. I hope to see more of you.

Welcome Allie! I don't know about you, but I was rarely home before I became a mom and with food always around even eating healthy stuff adds up. Personally I think the 100 pound thing is just there. If someone needs to drop a quick five to get back to their size 0 mini skirt then she's probably not going to want to hang around. LOL Good luck on the journey! Annie

Allie, you are in good company. :-) I went from a full-time (crazy hours, frequent travel) career to SAHM literally overnight when we adopted our kids. Our DS was 3 at the time so he was eating real food unlike our DD who only had 3 teeth at the time. So a handful of goldfish crackers here, a few teddy grahams there, full fat/sugar yogurt, another banana, a slice of cheese, etc creeped into my diet slowly but surely. Argh.

Annie

P.S. Even if I was emaciated my pelvis wouldn't fit into a size 0 anything! (Well, maybe one of those plus size lines that instead of starting at 1X start at 0X which I never quite understand. Isn't 0 times X equal to zero? Some kind of emperor's new clothes scam. ;*D )
