Okay some days hit me where I just don't feel like doing anything. At least in a form of exercise. Do you ladies have days that hit you like that? Do you let yourself just relax, or do you force yourself to exercise anyway? It seems like it usually hits me after I eat a lot more then I should, maybe its just the bad food steals my energy. But I also get afraid of being burnt out. Does that make sense?
I really hate losing weight, I really do. Why can't it just be easy? *Sigh* Just having one of those days. :P

I always have days where I don't feel like doing anything. Most days I'll make myself, other days I just give myself an out. It doesn't just apply to exercise either, or just to dieting, I almost never feel like going to work, or teaching, or filing, but oddly I haven't missed a single appointment or day of work in over 3 years. I think I'm better at motivating myself than I think. Yesterday I didn't exercise at all, but I ate pretty good at dinner, so it worked out. If I had completely overdone it I would feel all crummy though. It doesn't seem fair, it was really easy to put the weight on, it should be just as easy to lose it. Alas, it just isn't. I guess it's back to working my butt off, literally.

Oh, I'm definitely with you there, Tami!

I find that if I force myself to at least do some walking outside, it often revs me up enough to do a bit more in the way of exercise... inertia, I guess. Have you tried having a fall-back plan for days when you can't face a full workout? Some scaled-down form of exercise that you can almost always handle, maybe even enjoy?

But if you find the magic bullet that can take the place of exercise, don't forget to share! (Via info-mercial... you'll make a fortune!)

I feel this way most days. I think my problem is I am just home all day with pretty much nothing to do. Blade is at a point where he doesn't want my constant attention and

Tami,
You know what - I don't believe you! You LOVE losing weight -THIRTY POUNDS - That is awesome - I bet every drop on the scale made you happy.

Can you reframe your thought - like 'I hate that the process of losing weight is so hard- but I love that I am taing care of myself - making choices for a healthier life - how I look now compared with thirty pounds ago' -

I figure that I spent years beating myself up with food and sitting on the couch - I deserve to treat myself better- I deserve to exercise - In fact, your post inspired me to stick to my 'abs every day' committment yesterday - I was using the 'maybe I should check my e-mail' method of procrastination when I came to the board yesterday - I saw your post and I decided -'Abs now, answer tomorrow'. So thanks for reminding me to think about why I am doing this...

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and that you do something that makes you feel wonderful!
