What I really need to do is to get my mind right. I'm trying to think of it like I am my own third kid! If I wouldn't feed my kids something or let them have junkie food, then I need to not allow it for myself. If I would chase my kids outside or make them do something more active, then I need to move my butt when I'm feelng lazy. When I'm active though the other good habits usually follow. Have a great week! Annie
Ugh...I've fallen off and need to get myself back on again. The COOKIE diet didn't work well for me and since then (Nov. 1st) I've done terrible. I am drinking water but not as much as I was then and I've been snacking a bit more than I should too. I don't exercise, would love to join Curves but can't afford anything right now.
We just adopted our 2nd child (son) 2 weeks ago and been busy with that. My DH's family comes middle of February and I'd like to lose some weight by then and look a bit better.
My goals this week...no more beer (that's a diet killer) snack healthier, walk the dogs at least 4 days, clean house (not weight related but SERIOUSLY overdue) and try to give myself more time in the morning to eat breakfast, comb hair and drink some tea before work. My day is always so much better when I take a little time in the morning instead of oversleeping, brushing my teeth and running out the door, which is my usual routine. I did take the dogs to see Santa yesterday, got their pics taken and everything, really cute LOL.
Iris, Congratulations on your adoption! Mind if I ask how old he is? (Both our kids are adopted. DD was 15 months and DS just turned 3 when they joined us. Best event of my whole life, but incredibly exhausting--especially with my then 3 y.o. little bear.) wishing you the very best, Annie
4. Brush my teeth every night. ( I know I know, but it's still not a habit. I hate brushing my teeth, it usually makes me gag, almost throwing up. In high school I thought about brushing my teeth after every meal to make myself throw up, Fortunately I HATE throwing up so I never did that.)
