I stepped on the scale for the first time in like 4 days (and yes, I actually weigh myself every day - it works better for me). You guys know that I have been struggling severely with emotional eating for the last few weeks. But I am back on track :) The scale read 238 :) I am so happy - cause the damage wasn't as bad as I thought. Granted I'm still 6 pounds heavier than I was a few days before thanksgiving, but I really really thought it was gonna read 245. And I REALLY didn't want to go back to the 240's.
My short term goal is always to get into the next "tens" so I can say good by to the previous one forever. ie) my next short term goal is to get to 229. Then it will be to get to 219.
Anyway, just wanted to say thank you to everyone on here :) You guys ROCK! and REALLY got me back on track - For the first time in three weeks I feel like I can do this again!

I am happy about the 238 for you. It is so weird, i am in such a similar situation. I had gone up, but not over 240, which is what I was worried about! i too look forward to the next tens in weight loss, with 229 as my next goal. Best of luck to you!
