HI.. with the water war going on i just thought it would be fun to see how everyone makes sure they drink their water.

for me.. I drink a 10oz glass in the morning as soon as i get up.
then at work i have a 30oz insulated mug that i fill up and i drink that while i am at work, then as soon as i get home I fill a 2.5qt picture full of water (and some ice) and i keep it on the kitchen counter and i make sure i drink every bit of it before I go to bed. i've been doing this now since Xmas and i think my bladder is finally starting to get used to it cause i don't have to run to the bathroom every hour anymore..

any other hints or tips??

I have a 20 ounce bottle on my desk at work. I try to drink 20 ounces every 1 1/2 hours or so, sometimes more. I keep it right where I can reach it and just constantly drink off of it. I try to do 100 ounces at work. When I get home, I just constantly drink it until bedtime. I have no real tricks or secrets, I just force myself to drink it!!

I just constantly have a 1 litre water bottle in my hands and fill it up as soon as it empties everytime. I only drink water except for one coffee in the morning. I am getting anywhere from 4-6 litres a day in.

I'm not a natural water drinker, and tend to lose track of these things, so what works for me is drinking two 8 oz glasses of water after I take my meds, then two more each time I brush my teeth (am/lunch/evening at least, because <> I can't stand my own breath otherwise). So there's 64 oz., whether I try or not.

WWI (Water War I) is making me thing about water instead of tea during the day, though, so hopefully those numbers will go up and up...

Hi!
I'm a middle school teacher so I have to watch my water intake to make sure I don't drink too much at certain times I won't get away from my room for 3 hours. But...I drink a glass before every meal, before my coffee in the morning, in the car on the way home, with dinner and then in bed watching TV. If I go shopping or on an errand I take a bottle in the car. I've noticed that if I use a straw a drink more :-)

I've only started upping my water for the last week or so. I feel a whole lot better and I'm eating less. I'm so happy I found this board!

I have a 24 ounce bottle on my desk at work. I drink one of them by 10am (my goal everyday, lol). Then I have a 16 ounces of Crystal light (usually with my lunch). After lunch I

I brought a nice coaster in to work to put my drink cup on. It catches my eye on the desk since it's unexpected and the Palm Trees on it make me smile. Weird but it seems to work.

In high school I used to drink a lot of water, but I also used to walk at least 4 miles a day, so I think that helped.

Brightest Blessings
