I was just wondering does the time of day that you weigh yourself really matter? If so, what is the best time to check your weight?

the important thing with weighing in is being consistent, same time of day and preferably same weighted clothes. i personally do it first thing in the morning finding i am the lightest then.

I weigh myself in the morning before I get in the shower. That way I don't have to worry about 'clothes' or anything like that, it's my weight with no excuses!!
Also, I know a lot of people don't like to, but I weigh myself pretty much everyday, I think it will help keep me on track!

i did WW and still live the program. it took me 4 years - one reason was i quit in the middle when my husband was seriously ill and then realized i needed to get back after gaining a lot of it back. i orginally started in January 1999 and reached liftime Nov 2003. its a slow program, but very healthy and easy to live with after the weight loss. the key is not going back to the old habits. its a lifestyle change, not a diet!

I say in the morning. That's when I always weight.....

I weigh first thing in the morning after using the bathroom. I think it's the best time because once I eat or drink something my weight will start to fluctuate through the day depending on what/when I ate/drank.
