YEA TO ME!!!

Had my first real weigh in yesterday at WW. I lost 3.4 pounds. YEA! I was able to do that with just portioning my meals. I find that I am not hungry at all with this plan and that I can do this and sustain it for life. I even was able to have 2 peanut butter cups. I guess it is all about budgeting and eating healthy. I wish I was able to have walked more. It rained most of the week here and both my kids were sick. So that is my goal for this week. Just thin khow much weight I could have lost last week if I did walk. Well, I am feeling great and know that this is it. I am seeing myself thinner, healthier, and sexier. Looks like 2007 is shaping up to be a great year. Anyone have tips on how to work out indoors when weather is bad? Walking is hard on me since I have had my ACL replaced in my left knee. All I know is that I am ready to get my butt in motion. Also wanted to share a huge fear of mine and get advice about it. I am 24 and I weigh 306. I want to get down between 180 and 165 which was decided between my doctor and I based on body structure. Well, I am afraid that I will do all this work get down to where I want to be and have all this bagging skin. This thought always defeats my actions becasue I would honestly rather be heavy and look it than to work hard to be thin and look like my skin is melting off my body. Has anyone lost a large amount of weight and had to deal with this issue? Or does anyone know anyone in a similiar situation? I welcome any feedback. I wish everyone a new and long healthy life. Talk to you all agan soon. Will keep you posted on my progress.

YEA TO YOU!!! Congratulations on the loss!!! You're doing fantastic. And it's really great that you found something you'll be able to stick to for life. Because I believe that to keep the weight off, we really need to change our lifestyle.

As for exercising at home, did you try any workout DVD's? It might help. I use a stationary bike at home, but I'm not sure if this will work for you with the knee issue.

Keep up the great work!

I thank you for the encouragement. I wanted to know how to be able to post my ticker. I swaw everyone else has one so I went to the site and started one myself and don't know how to post it. I am having a snack attack week(that time). I am doing my best to push the cravings off and am doing a good job and I allow myself to give in once and a while. Well, wish me luck I will let you know how I did on tuesday when I get weighed in.

Congrates on your first weightloss. I also like you can't do any walking at the moment cause of my ankle. I haven't found anything that works. I'm going to look at swimming and do aqua aerobics. Right now I'm not doing that either. I do walk everywhere because we don't drive. I don't have any advice for working out at home sorry.
