We've done this before a long time ago and it was a lot of fun.

That what I want to get when I lose my weight a bellybutton ring

I would be able to go for a long walk with hubby and my dog without burning sensation down my calf.

How about heels? I still where them on occasion, but I feel like I have to set a timer and even if it's just for a short stint I know I'll have aching tootsies the nest day!

HI and welcome, you do raise a good point and we are all doing this for health don't let us fool you, but there are vanity reasons behind us too. I am glad you pointed out the best and most obvious reason of them all. Thank you for that. I hope you stick around and join us in this journey and I wish you much success.

I'd like to welcome you too, Steph, and to second what Angela said. At the time the thread was started a lot of us were feeling like we needed some more tangible vs. long range reasons to keep us motivated. A longer healthier life is my primary driver. I have two kids and a great husband and I want to be here to enjoy many happy years with them. Congratulations on getting started! Annie

OMG I get that all the time that I am Mark's daughter or niece, rather than his fiancee. To be fair though, I'm 25 and he's 45, maybe that's why :)

Hey! We made the feature topic on the Diet and Fitness Home page!!! How cool is that! Now I feel obligated to add another since we're not at 100 yet.

To try rock climbing! I've wanted to do at the YMCA we have, but it would just be to embarassing to put the harness on and have some poor guy have the 'belay' myself.
