When I was in high school I used to run the bleachers--up one row, down the next, up one, down another. I'd kill for that Rocky Balboa feeling again!

Hi everyone, I'm new to the board. I have two major reasons to lose weight (besides my health)

-To be able to go out dancing with my friends without having to take a break every three songs

-To be able to go into public with my good-looking best guy friend and not hear one women say to another, "they must be just friends, she's too fat for him." Even if we are just friends, things like that make me mad.

I want to go into a Vegas night club with my boyfriend and feel like I'm the sexiest girl there. I want to go out with my boyfriend and not have people look at us and wonder what he's doing with a "fat girl".

That the same with me. I would love to go out in nice shoes and won't fall over all the time and to not embarrass my husband.

I'll piggy back onto Mary's: When someone who has only known me for a few years sees an old photograph they say something like, "Wow, you looked so...(long painful pause)different." Ouch, that really smarts. I know what they are really thinking is "You looked so much prettier."
