getting frustrated

Ok, On Christmas I started taking Seasonale which made me quite sick for a while but I am finally adapting to it. My problem is that when I was sick I wasn't eating much and naturally wasn't losing much. Now even though I am feeling better I can not seem to get enough calories in, I am not a morning eater at all (makes me sick), I eat at noon at the earliest. Until recently I drank a coffee drink every morning which added to my calories, but I gave that up. I eat every few hours after noon with a big meal around 4-5 and a snack at 7 or so, I keep track of my calories on a site and I am only managing 900-1100. I used to lose 2-3 pounds a week and now I am only losing 1 +. I want to get back to where I was but am not sure how to get more calories in. Plus I am back to my excercise routine which means I need to add some additional calories, so I just don't know what to do. Anyone else have any issues like this?

Kim--I conceived 2 of 3 of my kids while I was on birth control, which is why dh got the vasectomey done. There are deffinatly times where I wish I had a hysterectomy, would be nice to not have to deal with all that stuff.

Returning to the original topic LOL

I think you'll need to experiment a little with your calories. I can tell that 900-1100 calories worked really well for you for a while, but it looks like your body has adjusted a little. (Although loosing 1+ pound a week is still

Mary---Funny to get your post today. I worked really hard at increaseing my calories the last few days and I am down two lbs. I took in 1500 calories and stuck to my normal excercise. The 800 calories intake never did well for me, but I felt ill enough that I couldn't eat more than that. Now I still don't feel hungry at all but I feel good enough that I can get myself to eat the extra calories. My relationship with food has changed so much recently, from want and crave to just need. I now go on my food log site and fill it out in the morning before i eat anything so what I am going to eat is all planned out for me and I stick to it. Hoping it works good long term.
