The diet I am on is excellent...although, not too sure about the long term success...that has yet to be determined.
Have any of you heard of Inches-A-Weigh? It's an all woman gym that I joined in 2005. It's not at all like Curves...way better! They have a nutritionist that you visit once a week to get weighed and once a month you get measured. They give you a new "menu" every week and help keep you motivated. It worked great except they do NOT allow children, so it was difficult for me to go, because my husband and I worked different shifts at the time.
As I mentioned before, I lost approx 30 pounds in about 3 months.
It is low fat/low to no sugar diet
Before having breakfast I down a 20 oz. bottle of water...I find that it helps to make me feel full.
For breakfast I have:
3/4 cup of FiberOne Cereal w/ 1 cup of Skim Milk--FiberOne takes some getting used to but the results are worth it...also, I was scared to drink Skim Milk at first but now I can't stand 2%.
For Lunch:
1 peice of Whole Grain Bread (to make 1/2 sandwich)
Lettuce, Chicken (Rotisserie from WalMart), Mustard
Carrots & Celery Sticks for Snacks
For Dinner:
Salad with Chicken
You can shake it up a bit, but I find that if I give myself too many options I start to crave other things.
Also, for the first 2 weeks you cannot have cheese or eggs.
Once you can have cheese, you eat Fat Free Cheese...Kraft makes them in slices.
It sounds a bit rigid but really not too bad...the main thing is to drink a ton of water.
I also worked out 4 days a week when I lost the 30 pounds.
Let me know if any of you try it & how it works for you!
