Hey folks, thought I would join tis board for some support of my ultimate goal- losing nasty lbs!
I'm 24 and currently weight 221. I've never been a skinny minny, but this is ultimately my highest weight, which made me feel pretty low.
I started a low-cal diet last Monday and today (Sunday) was 4 lbs lighter on the scale. Water, fat or whatever else has left my body, it made me feel good and optimistic about losing even more poundage.
I hope to meet new folks on here, get great tips and support and see how I can help others as well.

WOHOOO.. congratulations on an awesome first week!! 4 lbs.. you go girl! Are you following a specific plan? Are you exercising?

Congratulations to getting off to a great start! Don't discount your progress so far. It doesn't really matter whether you lost H2O last week or not. The point is that you got started and really got focused last week. That's terrific! Looking forward to having you with us! Annie
Welcome aboard - I just started here last week too. I have 135 pounds to lose - so far this board has been great.
