Hi all, my name is Chris I also have 100+ pounds to loose. I've had a weight problem since I was about 4 years old. Never was shown how to eat right, proper serving sizes ect. Now I sit here 28 years old with 3 young children (I'm a stay at home mom) who I fear will follow in my footsteps. After all how can I teach them how to eat right and take care of themselves if I can't do it myself. I long for the day when I can run around and play with them without having to sit down or just watch as they enjoy their childhood. I want to be part of their childhood and experance things with them. So here I am ready to jump back on the wagon and get this weight off.
I look forward to getting to know everyone as we travel this road together.
Thanks & Take Care!

Hi Chris, I am Cassandra. I am 29 and also have three children that are my main motivation for losing the weight. So what is your plan to lose the weight? I just hit my three month mark since the start of my weight loss journey, I have lost 36.4 lbs and am chugging right along and feeling great. Welcome aboard!!!

I'm not really going by a "diet" just trying to make better food choices, checking to see what's really in the things I've been eatting. Getting more active (that's a downfall of mine). Basically trying to find out what works for me and sticking too it.
~congrats on your sucess thus far that must make you feel wonderful!~
So far I'm doing well I've walked on my treadmill 2 days in a row so far that's a big + for me. I've stayed under my calorie limit the ast 2 days. I want to work more fruits and veggies into my diet I've been lacking them for way too long.
Thanks for the welcome!

Hi Chris, welcome aboard!

Like you, I am not following a diet myself.. I just try to do better with what I eat. Exercise is a big hurdle for me too, but I'm determined to make it a habit.. eventually LOL.

I have one child (almost 3 yrs old) and I am happy that he's already learning to eat healthier. He is my biggest motivation :)

Looking forward to posting and losing with you
